General
Platform provides a platform that assists users to reduce their monthly bills (“Services”). The Platform enables its users to analyze their expenses in light of the insightful information provided to them via the Platform. WisePal’s website at WisePal.com (“Website”) is designed to provide essential information on the Platform and Services to current and potential users and to enable users to contact WisePal regarding the Services and to log-in to use the Platform.
Device
Users can access the Platform and Website through various Devices. A “Device” is any digital device used to access the Platform and Website, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device. This Privacy Policy governs your access of the Platform and Website, regardless of how you access them, and by using our Platform and Website you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.
Collecting Information
Please note that the scope of this Privacy Policy is limited only to information collected by WisePal through your use of its Platform and Website. Some information may be automatically collected, and some is collected when you interact with our Platform and Website. The type of information that may be automatically collected is non-personal information, which includes your session durations, the content you accessed on the Platform and Website, information about your Device and your internet connection and the frequency and scope of your use of the Platform and Website.
Information from which you can be personally identified may also be collected, including but not limited to your name, email address and email token (hereinafter: “Personal Information”).
Use of Information
Personal Information will be collected on each user according to their use of the Platform and Website, for the purposes described below:
a. Setting-Up an Account
When you wish to register to our Platform and use the Services, you will be required to register and open a user account (“Account”). Personal Information provided by you during registration and creation of your Account will include your email address and email token.
b. Log-In to the Platform
If you wish to log-in to your Account to use the Platform via the Website, we will use a Single Sign-On account (“SSO”) such as Yahoo, Google or other email accounts. Signing in via the SSO will provide us with access to information these SSO services obtain about you, and all in accordance with your specific email account’s privacy settings.
c. Using the Platform and the Services
When you use our Platform and Services, we will process Personal Information to analyze and compare your monthly bills terms and conditions to the terms and conditions of similar monthly bills of similar characteristics offered by third parties in the market, and provide you with efficient insights. To do that, TheGoogle API Services User Data Policy will interact your e-mail account using Google APIs, Yahoo Mail Web Service API, Microsoft Graph API or, if you own an email account with another operator, the applicable operator’s API. When you use the Services we will solicit your consent to connect your Google, Yahoo or Microsoft account (or any other email account) to the Platform (using among other means Google’s OAuth authentication method), thereby providing us with read-only access to your email account information. This permission will be used only to access relevant email content and attachments concerning your monthly bills.
d. Analyzing your Information to Offer you with Personalized Services
We strive to provide our users with the most personalized Services which meet their specific needs per their request. In order to do that, the analysis we conduct considers personal characteristics, such as our users’ place of residence, age, marital status etc., to make the Services relevant to our users.
e. Payment Processors
When you are provided with the Services, we will collect your payment information via a third party payment processor to enable you to make payments via the Platform. Such third party payment processor will assure that your payment information is secured in accordance with the highest industry security standard.
f. Contact Us
If you wish to contact us via the Platform or Website, you will be able to do so via a digital form or an email message. We will collect the information transmitted via the digital form or email message, as applicable, to assure sufficient provision of the Services.
Disclosure of Information and Transfer of Data
Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we reasonably attempt to ensure that we never intentionally disclose any of your Personal Information, to any third party without having received your permission, except as provided for herein or otherwise as permitted or required under law.
We may share your Personal Information with our affiliates, subsidiaries or third party companies and agents to provide you with better product quotes as part of our Services or as required to facilitate any portion of the Services. It is important to note that WisePal is not a data broker and its scope of Services do not entail selling your Personal Information. As mentioned above, we will share your Personal Information with third party payment processors who will process your payment details in accordance with the highest data security standard. We may also share your information with the following analytics service providers, Google Analytics and Hotjar, for analytics purposes. Such analytics service providers set their own cookies or other identifiers on your Device, through which they can collect information about your usage of our Platform and Website. This helps us to compile aggregated statistics about the effectiveness of our Platform, Website and Services.
The above mentioned third parties may be located in countries other than your own, and we may send them information we receive. When such third parties process your Personal Information on our behalf, we will assure that they comply with obligations similar to those which are set forth in this Privacy Policy. We will also assure that they will abide by our data privacy and security requirements, and will be allowed to use the Personal Information solely for the purposes we set. Data Security
We deploy industry standard, or better measures to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of Personal Information we process. We maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards, and test and update these periodically. We endeavor to restrict access to Personal Information on a ‘need to know’ basis for the provision of Services to you. In the event of a security breach, we will take all reasonable action to minimize any harm, including with regard to notifications. Data Retention
Generally, WisePal does not retain information longer than necessary to provide its Services and for its reasonable business and lawful needs. If you withdraw your consent to us processing your Personal Information, we will erase your Personal Information from our systems, unless the information is required for WisePal to establish, exercise or defend against legal claims or it is necessary for the performance of the requested Services.
California Online Privacy Protection Act

- Once this Privacy Policy is created, we will add a link to it on the first significant page after entering our Platform.
